ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (970 WFLA) - There's been a second case of road rage in St. Pete this week.

In the latest incident, police say a pickup truck driver dragged a woman 50 feet through an intersection.

It happened along 2nd Avenue South Thursday night.  Police say the pickup truck driver was tailgating a woman, honking his horn, then swerved in front of her, slamming on his brakes.

At a nearby stoplight, she got out of her car and walked up to the driver's side window.  That's when detectives say the truck driver reached out and grabbed the woman's arm, then accelerated, dragging her 50 feet.

He finally let go and sped away onto the interstate.  The search is on for that driver who was in a older model beige or silver Toyota Tacoma pickup.

The woman, who's name has not been released, has been hospitalized with injuries to her right arm.
