Zac Efron phoned in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to talk his latest movie, which he also he executive produced, That Awkward Moment.
The former Disney star explains the movie is “about that moment when you decide which way a relationship is going to go. Like are you going to continue on or does it end here?”
The flick, which has been described as Sex and the City for guys, also stars Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan.
“It’s from a guys point of view that you’ve never really got to see before,” Zac goes on to say. ”And we kind of reveal what’s going on in our heads and it’s hilarious. It’s brutally honest and I think it’s really funny.”
In fact, the 26-year-old has even called it his favorite film of all he’s made.
So what’s so complicated about these guys? Well, when it comes to dating, Zac explains: “In our film, we kind of have a roster. Guys have a roster of girls that they’re kind of hooking up. There’s a hooking-up stage. Approaching the ‘seeing stage’ [and] approaching the ‘dating stage.’”
All of this obviously poses challenges for the boys when they finally do meet that one girl. “The cool moment about this movie is you meet some really cool girls along the way and guys that are used to this way of thinking are at that crucial point where they have to decide like, ‘Shoot! I really like this girl, what am i going to do?’”
