Demi Lovato‘s raved-about Neon Lights tour came to an end on Sunday night in Indianapolis, but her tour mates Fifth Harmony made sure to leave her an unexpected parting gift before movin’ on.
At the end of the show, the quintet cornered the starlet backstage and lured her with, “Demi? I just wanna say I love you.”
Seconds later, the 21-year-old was slapped with a pie while being silly-stringed simultaneously. Band member Dinah Hansen shared the 15-second hoax on Instagram (above) with the caption, “You’re too cute ! #NEONLightsTOUR WHOOHOO! Had to end it with some pie in the face lol … Weh.”
Demi also posted a video on Keek, which she captioned, “I’M GONNA KILL YOU DINAH!!!!! Hahaha..”
The “Neon Lights” singer also took to Twitter to share some sentiments after her final act, including a photo of herself post-prank which was tagged, “#BESTNIGHTEVER.”

Demi’s North American tour ran from February 9 to March 30, hitting major cities as Anaheim, Houston, Atlanta, and Nashville. The stateside tour enlisted an all-female lineup featuring her The X Factor colleagues Little Mix, Cher LLoyd, and the “Miss Movin’ On” singers.
Demi will kick off the South American leg of her tour on April 22 in Sao Paul, Brazil.
