The Nation's Two Most Powerful Stop in Florida

Two of the most powerful people in the nation are making brief stops in South Florida today. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is set to participate in a roundtable this morning in Miami with the Governor before traveling to Bushnell where he'll give an afternoon speech on U.S. foreign policy.

The President is also slated to be in Doral today to address Republican National Committee members at their Winter Meeting, and immigration advocates are speaking out.

Rep. Donna Shalala, St. Sen. Jose Javier Rodriguez and other community leaders are planning to gather at Miami's Freedom Tower this afternoon to criticize the President for what they call broken promises to the Cuban and Venezuelan communities.

They say he's taking unprecedented efforts to deport asylum seekers.
