The Orange County Sheriff's Office is releasing surveillance video that shows an armed man robbing an elderly couple outside an I-Drive hotel.
The robbery happened Saturday night, just before nine-o'clock.
A man ran up behind a woman and grabbed her bag, forcing her to fall to the ground. The man who was with her turned around and tried to run after the suspect, but tripped over the woman's body and fell face down onto the sidewalk.
Investigators say the thief jumped into a waiting crossover SUV and fled the scene.
