Florida Teen Starts Online Movement To Battle AntiSemitism

Jacob Brant

A South Florida teen has started what he hopes will be a nationwide movement against anti-Semitism.

17-year old Jacob Brant tells CBS 12 News that he's tired of being bullied for his religion and he's not alone.

"Me, and I have plenty of friends that go to other schools that have to deal with this everyday."

The Boca Raton High School student launched a social media campaign called "Students Against Anti-Semitism," aimed at letting others know they're not alone and getting them to share their experiences.

"We want to build this up. We want this to become a big thing so that everyone who goes through this cannot feel alone and can feel safe with who they are. That's our motto right now is 'You're not alone in this fight'."

He's launched a page on Instagram and hopes others will check it out.
