Governor Ron DeSantis Addresses Coronavirus Concerns

There are no coronavirus cases confirmed in Florida, but the state is ready to respond if and when the disease is detected here. "Wash your hands frequently, stay home if you feel sick and remain calm" that's the advice from Governor Ron DeSantis who says the state is ready to respond if and when needed. There's a protocol in place for suspected patients. They will be hospitalized and tested. The Florida Department of Health will then send the labs to the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta for confirmation. He says the goal is containment and to stop person-to-person transmission. State Surgeon General Dr. Scott Rivkees says coronavirus is only moderately infectious as of now Any patient under investigation or self-isolation after returning from China will remain anonymous.
