Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights | Now-11/02

This year at the World’s Premier Halloween Event, the 80s return with an all-new vengeance, bringing with them some of the biggest frights of the era. From cinematic screams to the most horrifying cult classics, there’s no escape from the decade that just won’t die. Enter terrifying haunted houses, inspired by the biggest names in fear. You’re never quite sure if your spine is tingling with dread or sheer excitement. Houses include STRANGER THINGS, Jordan Peele’s US, Universal Monsters, Ghostbusters, and much more. five sinister scare zones and outrageous entertainment. This event may be too intense for young children and is not recommended for children under the age of 13.

HOWL-O-SCREAM 2019 "20 YEARS OF FEAR"

Take on terrifying haunted houses & roaming hordes.

Howl-O-Scream 2019 unearths long-buried icons of the past and new nightmares as Busch Gardens Tampa Bay celebrates “20 Years of Fear” with sinister surprises at every turn. Brave souls can venture through horrifying houses, terrifying scare zones and thrilling rollercoaster rides in the dark for 22 select nights. Run for your life from September 20 to November 2 as gruesome ghouls emerge from their tombs to twist your daydreams into nightmares.

Spooktacular at Selby Gardens | October 27 2019 · 10:00am – 12:00pm

Spooktacular at Selby Gardens in Sarasota is a playful, family-friendly event. Daytime activities will include traditional, wholesome Halloween happenings like trick-or-treating and pumpkin decorating, fun educational activities, as well as more frightening (but not too scary) options. Children are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bags to collect their goodies. Come in costume! Grilled foods will be available for purchase!

SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular |Weekends from 9/21 - 10/27

Enjoy an all-new parade, a dance party, and trick-or-treating for candy and goodies throughout the park.

Guests of all ages can join their favorite furry friends from Sesame Street® as Count von Count, Elmo, Big Bird, and all the gang celebrate the season in our All-New Sesame Street Halloween Parade. 

Families will also enjoy a Halloween Dance Party and meet spooky characters along our new Trick-or-Treat Trail. For this special event, children are welcome to dress in their Halloween costumes and take part in this frightfully fun Halloween experience. The Halloween fun takes place every weekend September 21 through October 27 and is included with park admission.

After 4:00 PM, the Zoo transforms into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure for the whole family. Creatures emerge at dusk with startling surprises around every corner. No horror, no gore, just fun frights for all. NEW! Twisted Tale Trail:The tale is familiar and known to all; three little pigs, a wolf and a girl in a hood frolicking in the woods. What happens when two tales intertwine and something strange begins to unfold? Guests will be immersed in a fight between good and evil as the tale takes an unexpected twist and guests will wonder just who is Little Red?

HAUNTED RIVER TOURS from Pirate Water Taxi | Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday night in October

Hop aboard the Pirate Water Taxi for a frighteningly good time on the water. Join us on select nights in October for an entertaining evening with tales of ghosts and haunted facts along the Hillsborough River. Each tour will be led by a dead-lightful docent who will entertain you with spooky stories of Tampa’s past. NEW for 2019 a batty fiend will hop on the taxi for new thrills. 16th Annual Pumpkin Palooza Family Fall Festival | OCTOBER 5th, 2019

This great family festival is fun for all! Pumpkin Palooza is open to the public and features kid’s inflatables, petting zoo, games, prizes, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, crafts, face and hair painting, raffle goodie baskets, arts & crafts vendors and much more. It is well attended and has become a highly anticipated community event!

Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends and Halloween Painting at Busch Gardens | Saturdays & Sundays October 5-27, 2019

Celebrate Halloween with Elmo, Abby, Grover and all your favorite Sesame Street® friends every Saturday and Sunday in October during Sesame Street® Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends. Show off your family costumes during each themed weekend while you trick-or-treat, enjoy exclusive crafts, explore through a hay bale maze and play fall-inspired activities and games in our festival field area. Scarecrow Festival at the Pioneer Florida Museum in Dade City | October 12, 2019

*A wonderful Fall Festival! The museum's largest event of the year and so much fun!

Build your own scarecrow (while supplies last, you may bring your own clothes if you like), Scarecrow clothes provided by Hospice and Solutions Thrift Stores and other wonderful donors.(This is a fundraiser for Special Olympics and the museum.) Over 100 amazing vendors and delicious food. Too many fun activities to list them all.

A Nightmare on Franklin Street 2019 | OCT 18TH-30TH

Tampa’s most historic – and most haunted – movie palace presents 14 nights of petrifying programming on Oct. 18-31 for everyone from hard-core horror fans to the gentlest ghosts & goblins, including classic horror movies, family-friendly films, ghost tours, eerie live events and some spooky special guests!

8th Annual Fantasma Fest Little Monsters Pumpkin Patch | OCTOBER 26TH 11A-3:30P

The 8th Annual Fantasma Fest | Little Monster’s Promenade & Pumpkin Patch is where kids enjoy face painting, choose from over 3,000 FREE pumpkins to decorate and show off their costumes by trick-or-treating down historic 7th Avenue with Ybor City merchants.

This event is completely FREE and there will be volunteers there to help all the kids with crafting their special Halloween items!

Costumes aren't mandatory, but they are definitely encouraged! Once again, this event is for all children and their parents. Everyone is welcome!

Pumpkins are first come, first serve, so make sure you get there early!

Make sure you stick around for the Big Monster's Bed Race! Ybor merchants cruise down historic 7th Avenue at breakneck speeds in handcrafted beds on wheels!

An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel | October 25-26 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm

Visit the Henry B. Plant Museum for a thrilling Halloween event. An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel will be held on October 25 and 26, 2019 from 7 - 10 pm. See the Museum in moonlight as you've never seen it before and hear creepy tales from days long past. Learn about spirit photography and create your own haunting image. Victorian mourning and funeral customs come to life as eerie entities roam the halls. Period lighting and candles set the stage for true stories of death, homesick soldiers, and poisons. Florida Railroad Museum annual Pumpkin Patch Express | October 19 - 20 & 26 - 27

All Aboard for the annual Pumpkin Patch Express! This popular trip takes you to our patch of pumpkins. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in the hay ride, Lincoln log building, crafts and other activities offered at no additional charge!

GUPPYWEEN: THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM’S HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION | October 28th and 29th from 1pm to 5pm

We request your presence at the Codwarts School of Fishcraft and Squidery in The Florida Aquarium. Young wizards will be sorted into their Codwarts House before embarking on a quest to further their Fishcraft knowledge. There will be dazzling treats and magical adventures.
