Kelly Clarkson Served Southern Soul at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival

Kelly Clarkson hit the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival and let us know exactly who she is. A whole a*s woman! The singer gave us a southern loving feeling with the performance of the 6th track, "Whole Lotta Woman," off of her latest studio album, "Meaning of Life." Her skills are undeniable and her voice radiating through the T-Mobile arena got everyone out of their seats.

The multi-hyphenated artist has made headlines lately with news breaking of her upcoming talk show on NBC next year. Clarkson went onto The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and amidst a conversation about her upcoming "Meaning of Life" tour, the artist confirmed speculations about her show. By fall of next year, we'll be able to see Kelly throughout the week chatting it up about "remarkable stories, celebrity guests, spontaneous surprises, humor, heart and, of course, good music," USA Today reports.

Kelly, who became a household name in 2002 after winning the hit television series, American Idol, has since gone on to enter our television screens again with her role on the NBC show, "The Voice."  This past season we watched as Kelly guided Season 14 winner Brynn Cartelli

The Kelly Clarkson Show is set to broadcast before the Ellen Degeneres Show. Kelly's only fear about hitting the daytime talking set - she can't keep quiet!

"I didn't think I'd ever do it, but we shot the pilot. I love talking; it's like my favorite pastime," she explained. "It's hard for me to shut up, though. You have to listen to people who come on your show, and I just keep talking. That's the only thing I've got to work on: listening."

Other than that, a daily talk show is a dream come true for Kelly. In a statement, Clarkson said that this is a perfect opportunity to give back.

“I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organizations,” Kelly said. “Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!”

We can expect to see a fun, vibrant show where we'll continue to get our daily dose of Kelly's amazing voice.

"We sing every day on the show and do this fan request thing. It's fun. In the pilot, I got people to sing with me and do little skits," she said. "It's very musical; it would be weird if it wasn't!"

From winning American Idol to hosting her own daytime television series, Kelly has certainly come a long way. We're excited to watch the new show!
