That Red Liquid Found In Raw Steak Isn't Blood, It's Really THIS!

Calling all meat lovers out there, you are going to want to watch this video to check your facts about meat.  The red liquid that we all think is "blood" is actually not that whatsoever.  It is basically just a mix of water and myoglobin.  Myoglobin is a protein found in animal muscles. Since, meat is made up of 75% water and 25% protein, these two things mix together to make the red colored liquid.

Once you freeze the meat, the muscles are ruptured by the frozen crystals of water.  The mixture is completed and becomes what we all know and love to call "animal blood".
