Atlanta's mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms just revealed that she and her husband contracted Covid-19 from an asymptomatic 8-year-old child at her home.
(I was watching the live interview when she said it but it's a press conference still going on so I can't upload the interview yet)
I know I'm not alone as a parent when I say that this is what we worry about when we talk about sending our kids back to school. The fear is that our kids will become asymptomatic spreaders and bring it home or worse...become symptomatic themselves.
It feels like every day I change my mind as to whether to send my precious kids to school.
If we were in New York it would be a different story since they've gotten it under control but here in Florida seems so unstable.
What have you decided? I've done Florida Virtual School before when my daughter was in Kindergarten and it was WONDERFUL! Very easy and my daughter loved it, but nowadays I just don't have the time since my husband and I work full-time outside of the home.
