Fox 13 did a story about how in Polk County you can get a permit for $10 and cut down your own tree in this park with lots of them. They're not as full as the normal ones on the lots but it will do the job if you don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a tree!
I think this is a fun and resourceful way to get a tree in your home if you can't afford any others! Might be a little more work though!
