Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I certainly made the most out of mine since it wasn't my weekend with the kids.
I watched the Lightning game Friday night with some friends.
Then on Saturday, I went to the St. Pete Pride parade for the first time since I moved to Tampa. I heard it was one of the biggest parades in the country so I wanted to check it out! Plus, our sister station 93.3 FLZ was in the parade so I wanted to cheer them on.
I live about 45 minutes away from downtown St. Pete so I figured why not get a hotel on the beach so I can make a night of it and go to the beach in the morning. I ended up getting a last minute hotel from Hotwire which scared me to death since you don't know which hotel you're going to get until after you book it. It was called the Bilmar Hotel in Treasure Island and it ended up being great. Great view of the ocean.
