Now I finally understand why people are jumping on the Christmas bandwagon! I took last week off to rest and rejuvenate. 2020 has been SUCH a trying year. If you know me, you know that I am the Halloween Queen. My house is usually all decked out this time of year. I have a ton of life size animatronics...even a giant dragon for the front yard that breathes smoke. This year has been exhausting tho, so I haven't put up much of anything.
Well, on Saturday, my niece sent me a video on Instagram of a life sized animated Grinch. I LOVE THE GRINCH! I was so excited, I hopped online to see how I could get one. Wouldn't you know, the Walmart on Woodman had it in stock. You've never seen me run to the store so fast in my life LOL. I got one, came home and put it up. I had the biggest smile on my face and felt so much joy. It moves, it plays "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" and it has a couple of phrases he says too. My heart grew 3 sizes that day :) We even contemplated putting up the Christmas Tree. We didn't...but we thought about it LOL.
But now I get it. This year has been tough. Christmas brings joy. So is it too early to put out Christmas stuff?? I say no way. If it brings you joy, embrace it! I love my Grinch. And he sits in my living room next to my rocking witch LOL :) Check out the pics and video below :)
