The headliners for the 2019 Governors Ball Music Festival have been announced!
Performers for the annual music concert were announced via the Governors Ball's various social media accounts early Monday morning (January 7). Amongst this year's headliners include everyone from pop favorites Charli XCX and Lily Allen to Lil Wayne and Florence + the Machine.
Per the banner, the three-day festival launches for its ninth run at Randall's Island Park in New York City from May 31 (Friday) to June 2 (Sunday). The event will kick off with live showcases from acts like The Strokes, Tyler, the Creator, Mitski, and Jessie Reyez on it Day One, with more sets to follow by Nas, The 1975, Major Lazer, SZA, and a myriad of other artists over the weekend.
Last year's concert, held at the same venue, saw music heavyweights like Jack White, Eminem, Travis Scott, Halsey, Chvrches, and Lil Uzi Vert headline GovBall 2018.
