Eek! Pools across Tampa Bay recently have been testing positive for a parasite called cryptosporidium. It spreads through diarrhea or kid's leaky diapers. The Florida Department of Health has already investigated close to 300 possible cases...26 in Pinellas, 12 in Hillsborough and 10 in Pasco so far this year.
The parasite is microscopic so you won't be able to see it...and it could make you sick for days.
