If you were wondering why it took so long to get anywhere this morning, here's why:
A multi-vehicle crash caused an SUV to overturn off the Howard Frankland Bridge this morning. It happened around 7am Wednesday morning when the driver of the SUV was apparently driving recklessly and hit a truck causing it to spin and essentially flip over into the Bay.
Numerous crews responded to the Howard Frankland Bridge SB at around 7:30 a.m. for a report of a car in the water.
The Coast Guard confirmed that a car did go into the water and divers and rescue crews were on scene trying to locate the vehicle and driver.
