Damage Caused By Sunday Storms

A line of severe storms that moved through the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast on Sunday left some damage.

There were some uprooted trees and some people reported roof damage as well.

A waterspout was spotted off Highland Beach and a Stuart resident claims a tornado uprooted a 150 year old tree in the front yard of her home.

In Martin County, a sailboat crashed into the Jensen Beach Causeway. That's where the highest wind gusts of 77 miles per hour were clocked.

No tornadic activity has been verified by the National Weather Service.

32,000 FPL customers in Palm Beach County alone were left without power at one point. Most of those people have had their power restored.
