PALM SPRINGS, FL -- A 17 year veteran of the Palm Springs police department is on paid leave after being arrested this week.
According to CBS 12, a news release says Robert Hite is the target of a public corruption investigation. He's charged with seven counts of battery, two counts of extortion and three counts of obstructing justice.
