The list of 19 include Bridget Ziegler, Robyn Marinelli, and Timothy Enos who were running for the Sarasota County School Board.
Also, two DeSantis endorsed candidates won in Miami-Dade. Monica Colucci defeated Marta Perez, a 24-year school board member. The other Miami-Dade County School Board candidate endorsed by the governor to be victorious was Roberto Alonso.

The governor didn't endorse any candidates for the Palm Beach County School Board, despite a number of them espousing tenets of his education agenda.
They include outspoken anti-masker Angelique Contreras. She was beaten by a wide margin by board member Erica Whitfield. The incumbent was asked why she believes the voters supported her.
"I think it's saying to the community that they like what we're doing and they want to support us and keep us going forward and continue doing this work which is honestly, it means so much to me."
One other candidate who shares the governor's education agenda was also beaten by an incumbent school board member and a third is expected to lose in a run-off in November.
Seven DeSantis-backed candidates are headed to runoffs in November.
