Lightning Fall To Blue Jackets In Overtime

The Columbus Blue Jackets (8-9-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (10-6-2) 7-6 in overtime on Thursday night in Columbus.

Zach Werenski led the way for the Blue Jackets, earning five points on the night and scoring the game winner in overtime. Nikita Kucherov had three assists for the Lightning, picking up his 900th NHL point in the process.

The Lightning now return home for the next three games beginning with the Dallas Stars on Saturday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Stars is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Saturday night at Amalie Arena.
