Meghan Trainor is feeling happy and healthy in her fitness journey but would like for the attention to be on her music instead of her body.

On Monday (March 31), the "All About That Bass" singer took to her Instagram to share a message about the "dream" of being recognized by as a Hitmaker at Billboard's recent Women in Music event while noting how much of the focus has been on her body transformation rather than her music.

"It's a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here," she said. "This is what it's like to be a women in the music industry."

Trainor, who recently shared the "secret" to her dramatic transformation, recognized that her body has changed over the years as she wanted to get healthier not only for herself but for her two sons — Barry and Riley, whom she shares with husband Daryl Sabara — through lifestyle changes as well as support from the weight-loss drug Mounjaro.

"No, I don't look like I did 10 years ago. I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me," she said. "I've worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I'm so glad I did because I feel great."

Trainor concluded her message with a hope that conversations moving forward shift to the things that "really" matter, such as "celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first."
