Rays Open Road Trip With Win Over Royals

The Tampa Bay Rays (44-35) defeated the Kansas City Royals (38-41) 5-1 on Tuesday night in Kansas City. It was a bounce-back outing from Taj Bradley, who was unable to get out of the second inning in his most recent start.

Taj Bradley (5-5, 4.57) pitched a perfect game into the sixth inning and finished the game with six and two-third shutout innings in which he allowed just two hits while striking out four and walking one.
