Miami Beach Renames 13th Street To Gloria Estefan Way

Miami, FL - Miami Beach has officially renamed 13th Street, located off Ocean Drive, to Gloria Estefan Way in recognition of the singer’s contributions to music and her ties to the local community.

The street runs adjacent to the historic Cardozo Hotel, which Estefan co-owns and helps operate.

The initiative to rename the street was recommended by the Miami Beach Commission for Women and supported by city officials.

A dedication ceremony took place at 11 a.m., followed by a celebratory brunch honoring the Latin music icon.
