“Beavis and Butt-Head” is making a comeback. Everyone’s favorite Gen X teenage couch potatoes are being rebooted by Comedy Central with a Gen Z twist.
The network has announced that “Beavis and Butt-Head” creator Mike Judge is reimagining the MTV series for two new seasons, along with spinoffs and specials. He’ll write, produce and do the voice-overs for both characters.
“Beavis and Butt-Head” first aired in 1993, becoming an instant pop culture hit, Judge going on to create shows like “Silicon Valley” and “King of the Hill.” In a statement, Judge says it “seemed like the time was right to get stupid again.
