It's a day SO many people have waited for, the chance to make an appointment to get the covid vaccine. But if this is anything like other counties in Florida, don't sleep in! The reservations begin at 9am and will fill up VERY quickly for the several thousand doses available.
Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties open their reservation process for seniors 65 and older to make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine online or by phone and the distribution of vaccines will begin Wednesday, Jan. 6th.
Those looking to apply online in Hillsborough County can do so at hccovidshot.as.me beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4. Appointments also are available by calling 888-755-2822. The phone line will be open beginning Monday, Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Pinellas County, health officials say the distribution of vaccines will begin Tuesday, Jan. 5th.
