The former Why Don't We member is leaning in and helping fans across the globe with his new music and he shared with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, April 2, that he realized tapping into his own vulnerabilities is actually his songwriting superpower.
The track touches on the universal longing for self-improvement and the desire to create a better world. With lyrics like “I wanna be a better place,” Jonah opens up about personal struggles and the importance of making positive changes in both his life and the world around him.
"Especially going back to boy band roots, it's kind of engrained in me to think what do people what to hear," Jonah shared of how he came up with the viral hit. "... And it's become something a little bit different than art. ... The more I've leaned in and been vulnerable and said the hard thing to say, it connects more."
