I LOVE stories like this! Hamm the dog went missing from his Dade City home in 2021, and his owners had given up on ever seeing him again. Flash forward to this week, when he was picked up on the side of the road in Pensacola by a Good Samaritan!
Jasmine Noffsinger and her sister spotted Hamm on the street in Pensacola, and they knew he needed help.
“Something told me that we needed to grab him, so my sister pulled over and we got him in the car,” Noffsinger said.
Turns out Hamm was microchipped, and his owner, Patricia, was contacted... she said Hamm escaped his yard two years ago, and she hadn't heard anything about him since!
Jasmine and Patricia agreed to meet in Gainesville--about halfway between Dade City and Pensacola--ad Hamm recognized Patricia immediately. He's healthy, and very happy to be home!
