There's about to be a Tampa edition of Monopoly! But instead of Boardwalk and Park Place, Hasbro (the makers of Monopoly) are looking for the public's input on what Tampa landmarks should be included on the board! Raymond James Stadium, Bern's Steakhouse, ZooTampa, Bayshore Blvd, Ybor City...what Tampa hot spots do you think should make the cut?
I'm not sure if the board will only include Tampa Proper, or if it's "Tampa Bay," and will include landmarks on the Pinellas side. Either way, if you have suggestions for what should be on the game board, you can email the makers of the game at tampa@toptrumps.com. Top Trumps has partnered with Hasbro to make city-specific versions of Monopoly for other geographic areas in the US. Once released, the Tampa edition of Monopoly will be available on Amazon, at CVS, and other select Tampa retailers.
