I saw this article on CNN about all the myths we believe about sleep.
I think as a society we probably try to justify living day in and day out severely sleep deprived. As I write this, my eyelids are heavy and I could fall asleep right in my chair. (Being able to fall asleep anytime, anywhere is a good thing = another myth)

Can't say I'm surprised considering I sleep about 5 hours a night on a good night!
